The ancient holy city of Nasik, primarily an agrarian and religious town is situated on the banks of the eternal river Godavari. 

In the past we Nashikites would boast only about the good climatic conditions and the holy religious atmosphere of the town. But today Nashik is poised for tremendous growth due to which it has become the focus of attention of the entire state. Living has indeed become a classy affair in Nashik.  Even with a busy life style it is a cheerful sight to watch Nashikites on the jogging tracks or flocking towards the swimming pool, early in morning. There are myriad activities going on round the year like Nashik Festival, Cycle Rallies, Marathon Events, Sales, Exhibitions, etc. All these activities draw a very enthusiastic response from Nashikites.
